And if "Black Friday" sounds ominous to you, worry not - for it is actually the day following Thanksgiving Day in the United States, traditionally the beginning of the Christmas shopping season. Am not too sure we have a "Black Friday" here in Singapore as well, the closest being the "Great Singapore Sale" (aka 'GSS') which is essentially a whole-hog month of sales, which frankly sometimes defeats the purpose lol
