Check out images of Todd Robertson's custom-submissions for the upcoming "Heteromorphism" show at Double Punch (curated by Dream Rockets). I reckon the images shown above and on the slideshow below simple speaks volumes for themselves - the rainbow-explosion amidst the mecha-invasion is superb, and THIS is a sort of modern-anime I would LOVE to see come to animated-life! Seriously!
