Predators: 1/6th scale Noland Collectible Figure from Hot Toys

And while I should not be too surprised Hot Toys released this figure, I was still surprised they would release it in the first place. Ands while we've seen a myriad of Preadtor figures released, yet another "humanoid" joins the fray and stands alongside "Royce" against the alien predators! Based off the character "NOLAND" in the 'rebooted' PREDATORS by Robert Rodriguez, the 1/6th-scaled figure features the likeness of Laurence Fishburne - with head sculpted by Noh Sung Woon and painted by JC.Hong.

One impressive aspect of the set is as well the accessories - which features sculptwork from Joseph Tsang, Kouhei Okui & Cha Tae Jin, and painted by Lalla. And while I might be quick-on-the-trigger to say they look like 'kitbashed-parts" - they are in fact based on the movie's design, which ironically WAS based on kitbashed-parts of fallen Predators lol


Sideshow Toys has this on pre-order at US$184.99 for a first quarter-2012 shipout schedule. It always made me wonder tho - Noland looks kinda reeeeeally chubby even if he's stuck on a desolate alien-hunting preserve, isn't he? Say goodbye to 'Morpheus', folks!
