Toy-Review: Predator Qee by Jay222 for Custom Toy Union: Assassins Series 2

Toy-Customizers-collective Custom Toy Union collaborates with Toy2R for their second series of "Assassins" and features Qees as platform of choice. The figurines are currently available via http://customtoyunion.bigcartel.com for US$40 per "blind-pull" = meaning you do not know which figures you will be paying for, and getting until you receive them. You will be purchasing "blind".

Shown above is the packaging for the series, housed in a white ziplock bag with header-card, and the figure itself is wrapped in bubble+foam sheet. Included in the package is a Assassins 2 "postcard" (which is a photoprint). And guess which was the figure I scored?


This PREDATOR-custom was done by Jay222 and features articulated legs. The arms has been glued down due to the placement of the headsculpt. The item is fully-painted, with the artist signing at the base of the feets. Would've been lovely if this particular custom came with an added accessory or weapon tho (seeing tis a Predator and all ;p) - but yes, I am being toy-greedy as usual lol (would've completed the "experience" tho, IMHO). Nevertheless, this turns out to be my first ever purchase of a "custom figure" actually! And for 40-bucks, tis an alright purchase! (Dude's standing beside my laptop now as I type this lol).


The series includes artists: Ardabus Rubber / B.A.L.D. / Fried Gold Productions / Fuller Designs / Hugh Rose / Matcandraw / The Model Maker / Mr. Munk / Rocketboy / Rsin / TyleR - and as well all BB's will have a chance to win a customized 8" Qee by B.A.L.D. via a Golden Ticket (randomly placed in one BB package).
