Mike NEMO Mendez Signing at New York Comic Con Booth 876

EVENT-PRESS: Tenacious Toys is pleased to announce a continued collaboration with NY-based artist Mike "NEMO" Mendez at their New York Comic Con Booth #876, a joint venture with Hong-Kong-based vinyl toy manufacturer Toy2R. NEMO was picked to grace the front of the booth postcards, illustrating the infinite customizing possibilities of Toy2R's 5" DIY Mini Qee platform. Benny of Tenacious Toys asked NEMO to paint a Toyer Qee in his signature tiki style, and NEMO did not disappoint. All visitors to Booth 876 will be able to pick up one of these postcards for free, and the Tiki Toyer Qee in question will be for sale for US$200 at the booth.


EVENT-PRESS CONTINUED: NEMO will be on hand at Booth 876 throughout the con to meet and greet. He will also participate in a group signing with fellow toy customizers OsirisOrion (his business partner at Bad Applez Inc) and Bob Conge (Plaseebo Toys) at 3PM on Saturday October 15th. The three artists will be selling various customs that they completed on their own, as well as a group project- a micro series of Bad Applez first release: the Space Junk Destroyer, customized by Plaseebo.


NEMO executed several other pieces which will be available during his signing: he used 50 of our postcards as sketch cards, which will be given out to attendees who show up to meet him. eet NEMO at 3PM on Saturday October 15th at Booth 876, alongside OsirisOrion and Bob Conge of Plaseebo.
