Toby's Secret Society Mini Series from Gary Baseman x Kidrobot
It was simply a "right place at the right time"-scenario, when I happened to pop into Ozzo Collection at China Square Central today, meeting Gabby Tiongson for lunch, when Mike opened up shop with the newly delivered TOBY'S SECRET SOCIETY mini Figures from Gary Baseman x Kidrobot!
Truth be told, I had no intention of purchasing the figures, but once I saw the "Goddess of Dreams" with a fabric-mask, I was SOLD! The detailing and accessories was pretty neat and clean, which was a good sell, IMHO. Then of course scoring the "chase"/unrevealed version Toby & the Snowglobe-accessory (whose rarity ration was 1/16, similar to loads of other figures too), made it even all sweeter! I thought the two versions of Toby & Disciple was a 'smart sell" tho, as the colorways were swapped for both main and lil figurine! (Red w/ Dark - vs - Dark w/ Red). The small foldout catalog of figures was a nice touch, harking back to the good old days of inserts in toy-boxes of my youth :)
