Kotobukiya / Simply Toys @ Anime Festival Asia 2011

Local retailers Simply Toys can be found representing their brands and products at most local events - which instead of gripping "we'll see the same things again" - it actually offers brand awareness moreso than anyone ever dares realizes, IMHO. For Anime Festival Asia (www.animefestival.asia), anime statues were out in force (shown above) as well as comicbook and Star Wars -themed products from Kotobukiya (In the past I might balk at the non-relevancy, but these days I applaud the diversity presented lol).

I was thoroughly charmed by the anime-comicbook ladies (illustrations by Shunya Yamashita made 3D) and there was even prototypes of Poison Ivy, X-23, and from Star Wars: R2D2 and even Ben Kenobi. Nice spread, indeed :)
