Munny World Festival Indonesia 2011 @ Plastic Culture 9 - 11 December 2011
Custom Munny Submissions have come to a close for 2011's Munny World Festival Indonesia. Check out the press-text for the main event, as well check out the OPlastic Culture blog for details of each event happening @ Level One, Grand Indonesia Shopping Town, Jakarta - between December 9th to 11th @ Plastic Culture (who recently underwent renovations - check out above-right pic where their previous "wall" has been removed!).
PRESS: Featuring your works on MUNNY V4, the 7-inch Do-It-Yourself Munny by Kidrobot. Yes, that’s right. In MWFI 2011, we are focusing on bigger things. Silvia Tampi (winner of Munny Contest 2009) and Chalid Affan (MWFI 2010 Grand Champion) have led the way with their amazing customs. It’s now the time to see what YOU can do with 7-inch Munny V4. With a total prize of TEN Million rupiahs for the winners, Plastic Culture is proud and honored to present MUNNY WORLD FESTIVAL INDONESIA 2011.
This year we will have mini separate events for the Festival, they are Competition Showcase, On-The-Spot Competition, Munny Custom Exhibition, Indonesian Designer Toys Exhibition and Live Drawing.
PRESS: Munny Custom Exhibition will display the work of invitee artists from around Indonesia. They are Iwan Effendi, Koma (Indo), Pinkversusblack, NOAH, Tellthem, Ykha Amelz, Godoftoy, Kong Andri, Freddy Chandra, Hendra “hehe” Harsono, The Popo.
Winner Announcement will take place at CENTER STAGE, Level One. Again, winner will be judged based on their CONCEPT (with execution), CREATIVITY, and CLEANLINESS. Here are the list of winners:
