GENGA Exhibition (大友克洋GENGA展): Featuring the works of Katsuhiro Otomo @ 3331 Arts Chiyoda (Opening April 9)
Famed Japanese creator and manga-artist / illustrator Katsuhiro Otomo comes GENGA! An exhibition showcasing Otomo's 39 years worth of works, which includes his much revered AKIRA - who influenced generations of creators till this day. The promo images posted here (and found on otomo-gengaten.jp) is so mind-bendingly awesome, it sends shivers down my own spine in anticipation.
Scheduled to launch April 9th, and exhibits thru May 30th, 2012 via 3331 Arts Chiyoda - as well 30% of the profits of the exhibition visitors will be donated to help the affected areas of reconstruction of the affected areas in Miyagi Prefecture, post-Earthquake.
