Only just yesterday we posted about Scribe & Alisa Ross' appearance at Prototype, now we get new news about them at Eat the Street on January 27th, and In4mation on January 28th! Read on and check out additional preview images posted HERE on my FB-album!
EVENT-PRESS: As part of Scribe and Alisa's trip here to the 808, Scribe will be doing a live painting at Eat the Street, Friday, January 27, 2012 from 4:00-9:00pm.
Like in many of the states, the food truck culture is also taking off here in Hawaii. Hawaii people are really big about food, being that it's a sharing of culture, being that the 808 state has quite the mix of ethnicities here.

Donald Ross, also known as "Scribe", and his wife Alisa Ross are returning to Hawai'i. Scribe is known for his artistic work painting murals, designing designer vinyl toys, illustrating children's books, and being an awesome father. His wife Alisa is well known for creating original handmade custom plush toys and collectables.
The couple will be showcasing their artistic talents with an art show and meet & greet at In4mation in the Pearlridge Center on Saturday, January 28, 2012. The event will showcase original art pieces, paintings, and drawings created by the husband and wife duo and will also showcase some of Scribe's murals that will be painted during their visit to Hawai'i in several communities including Kalihi, Kaka'ako, and the greater Honolulu area.
Scribe and Alisa will also be displaying custom designer vinyl toys, handmade plush, and t-shirts. These items have been created exclusively for their Hawai'i fans and will only be available at this event.
The event will also feature a Blackbook battle that is free and open to everyone. During the Blackbook battle, a word and/or character will be given at 5:30pm. Artists are invited to draw their best rendition of the given word or character. Prizes will be given to the best entries of the Blackbook battle at the end of the evening.
Music for the event will be provided by Lightsleepers DJs Kavet the Catalyst, Vezzen, DJ Observ, and Oliver Twist.
