"In making the character for the CE Contest, I imagined a Japanese Kabuki actor and fusion of the pop culture. The red makeup in kabuki expresses "courage, justice, and strength."

I expressed the feeling of aid by the traditional design of Japan and pop culture of Japan. And I am wishing revival of both countries." ~shares Satoshi Yoshioka.

Satoshi is one of the 5 international finalists picked for the upcoming CE Contest 2 Final Battle in Thailand, happening March 29-31st, 2012! His submitted design was also one of the seven chosen by SINGHA ARSHA to be made into a production toy, with the proceeds of sales aimed to benefit charity.
