Combattler V - 2012 Version
The classic COMBATTLER V - redone for 2012 by Kyoraku - made me tear a little … find out more via www.kyoraku.co.jp (all in Japanese language, I'm afraid). The thing is, these videos were the result of pachinko machine maker Kyoraku Sangyo - made for their recently-released "Pachinko Chō Denji Robo Combattler V" machine. "The videos include a video accompanying a "2012 Version" of the 1976 Combattler V anime's opening performed by TK+9 Factory, a promotional video featuring the song "battle field" by Rio Asaba&Satsy, and an animated opening-like video introducing the characters of the series." ~reported Anime News Network.
I barely remember watching this when I was so young growing up in Hong Kong... I still have the toy transformer / action figure, too. I never knew the name of it until today! Now I want to watch this 2012 version as a full length movie.
