"Dreams in Focus" - A Custom Toy & Photography Event Launches July 19th
Vinyl Destination x Exposure Gallery presents DREAMS IN FOCUS [Facebook] - a custom toy and photography event launching July 19th. A total of 10 South Africa-based and international artists were gathered to contribute a 3-piece collectable set: (1) custom designed 4” vinyl toy (2) Lomography camera, and (3) a unique 1/1 A4 matching print each. All items will go on display at Exposure Gallery on the 19th July 2012 and will go on online auction to purchase for the duration of 30 days.
The artists include Kronk / The Given / Samantha Breakspear / MiniKiki / Brent Black, and international artists 64 Colors (USA) / Lunartik (Germany) / Cris Rose (UK) / Lunabee (UK) / VISEone (Germany). On top of the featured 10 artists, there will also be supporting featured works by other great local designers, such as Hylton Warburton, Frank Skullboy, Wihan Mouton, and Reddprime to name a few.
Proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Children’s Hospital Trust with 100% of the donation going towards the Rehabilitation Programme within the newly upgraded Burns Unit at the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital. The Children’s Hospital Trust fundraises for the Hospital and Paediatric Healthcare in the Western Cape.
