Vinyl Thoughts 3 @ Life in Deep Ellum (Sept 13)

The Vinyl Thoughts Art Show is heading into it's third incarnation, with the theme this round being "Drawn Together" - where the participating artists were asked to "draw inspiration from anything illustrated", which includes comic books, graphic novels, cartoons, animated films, patent drawings, cave drawings, etc.'

As well the organizers have added canvas this time around as well. They must be 12"x12" and feature an image of a vinyl toy in them. Artists were also asked pick different decades for each of their pieces.

"Hopefully, that will force some artists out of their comfort zone and will also keep us from getting of lot of pieces based in the last twenty years." ~mentioned Curator Shelby Miller.
