"The designs are based on Filipino folklore. They are the monsters in our country. I gave them all full names and have stories to them. Dwayne Dee is actually our version of the dwarves. Nik Balang is a horse headed humanoid. The Ash Huang is usually seen as a huge black dog with the owner blending into the community." ~says Gabs.
