The REMIX PROJECT sees a David Horvath-designed vinyl collectible paired with a Giant Robot Big Boss Mascot, given to invited customizers and artists to interpret, and displayed at the recently launched Giant Robot Biennale 3 at the Japanese American History Museum. I've featured numerous customs specific to this project, and will continue to (when folks decide to send me images, anyways lol), but it would do you well to check out this particular post at www.giantrobot.com to see them in detail, as well this post for some event launch images (all photos by Dean Gojobori). And what a delightful spread of works it is!

This exhibit showcases a swell mix of low-brow art (from folks we love in the art toy world), as well as works from folks in the modern contemporary arts, and what they've achieved is a nifty indication of the both ends of the spectrum in this world we choose to dwell in, the world which I term "Art Pop" (for lack of a better term, I'm not much of a "wordsmith", I'm afraid ;p).
