Day Three In Pictures for New York Comic Con 2012

NYCC2012_Day3_Crowds

Day Three of New York Comic Con on a Saturday. I don't see a whole lot of imagery for products for sale, so either vendors were so busy doing rip-roaring business, and had no time to tweet or instagram their wares, or they simply do not intend to advertise about them .. but looking at the insane crowd shots, I reckon it was the former LOL

Nevertheless, these are some 'random' selection of imagery to share, and yes, they look a whole lot like they used to the day before, isn't it? Hey, don't be looking at me, I'm the armchair blogger scavenger here LOL

Shown directly below are uncut sheets of Melty Misfits trading cards by Buff Monster at the Sidekick Labs booth, which also saw goodies from The Sucklord on show-n-sell (do who managed to score one?).

UAMOU blogs her booth display at Onell Designs' #3216, and it looks simply marvelous! Shown below are booth shots from @peterkato showcasing his Tako-Heads and HULK Turtle Tetsujins, while Good Smile sneaks in with a display snap (thanks to @dannychoo), and I am thoroughly intrigued with this duo snapped by Marlon Brown @ViBe037!

Above-left shows Metallica-member Kirk Hammett with his figure release with To Tokyo, and the rest are booth shots from Jon Malmstedt of RAMPAGE TOYS - featuring toys beyond my depth of understanding (I'm "simple" that way - don't look down on me ;p), and shown below are snaps from Tenacious Toys - who continues their splendid coverage of their booth at NYCC, with snaps of signings by Jason Freeny, Jon-Paul Kaiser and J*RYU, Carson Catlin and Richard Page of UME Toys - who is seen here with a sign showing that he is donating "Bassett D Kaye" to a raffle to benefit Susan G Komen. (US$1 per ticket @ booth #3121).

The Designer Toy Awards was tonight, and although this happened not at the location of NYCC, the results were directly connected to the perusers and practitioners of the event, in particularly folks in "The Block". I've listed the winners HERE, and here are some snaps of folks with trophies:

J*RYU for "Best Customizer", John "Spanky" Stokes waving his trophy for "Best Blog" at Chaukosis ("Artist of the Year"), and October Toy's win for OMFG! figurines in "Best Mini Series". Congrats all around!
