Rob Losito on New York Comic Con & The Designers Toy Awards / Sarah Harvey on Winning "Best Collection" at the DTAs

"This weekend was an amazing experience in the toy community during New York Comic Con. It was great to see all of you once again. So much fun and laughs were had. Love seeing the Vinyl community all coming together and sharing ideas, stories new product info good times and lots of drinks lol.

Most people think of celebrities as movie stars, musicians, athletes and even reality tv people. But in our community celebrities are artists, producers, collectors distributors, Toy bloggers, shop owners and pod casters. Collectors get weak in the knees when they meet some of their favorite artists that they have been collecting pieces from.

That is some of the great moments about this family. We all come together to help achieve 1 goal. To help expend and keep all of this going. I just want to thank everyone for continuing to support all of this.

It is a pleasure to be involved in this and the acceptance you have given. I look forward to many great products, experiences and friendships for years to come. It's all about passion and love and I love each and everyone one of you like family. Thank you for always continuing to deliver great times when we are together." -Rob Losito.

As for how that happenstance occurred, Rob explains; "They didn't have a presenter for it and when they asked if any one wanted to do it. I stepped up and the Sucklord told me to come up an do it. It was an amazing experience for me. Being how much I love this community I felt like I was presenting an Oscar LOL."

What both Rob and Sarah had said, were essentially the core aspects of this art toy community, and how it makes the culture "tick", and that which makes it awesome, IMHO. Til next year, folks!
