Custom Toys Roundup (Dec 13)
"Shaco & Udyr" from Sam De Jesus are one-of-a-kind commission based on characters from the popular video game League of Legends. Made from custom 4 inch Kidrobot Munnies, with super sculpey, styrene, and acrylic paint, they look pretty amazing!
"IDOL'S IDOL" is the name of this custom 'HUG' by Shane Haddy and you can see more images of this cat-head worshipping idol via Shane's Hints and Spices blog.
Previously seen as a spread of parts, here is the final build for "The Hug Machine" by Josh Mayhem for The Blamo Custom Hug Show @ Toy Art Gallery launching this Saturday. Glorious! Check out more individual images posted HERE on my FB-album.
"Chinese Paper Cut Bunny" 12-inch customized MUTANT BUNNY from Joe Ledbetter. Looks pretty festive and would really rule during Chinese New Year tho!
Lukas - Roar With Us shares with us a few customs he had made for the launch of his new store at roarwithlukas.storenvy.com - with this batch featuring a 4" Kracka and three x 3" Dunnys, and looking pretty darn good, I must say!
"I was invited by Chris Dobson, aka Alto, to make a custom of his Evil Origami toy. This was a fantastic opportunity to work on this beautiful toy. And great to work on a piece with other Scottish based artists to be shown our beautiful capital city too where I was lucky enough to have been an art student!" ~said Lisa Rae Hansen.Titled "Evil Origami, Troubled Waters", this and all other customs will be on show in Alto's exhibition "Unfold" which opens Thursday 13th December at The Little Ox Gallery in Edinburgh.
