DZ40 Devilman Mazinger Z 40th Anniversary @ ◯|◯| (Jan 19-Feb 3, 2013)
DZ40 is an event dedicated to celebrating the 40th Anniversary of DEVILMAN MAZINGER Z (www) creations of Go Nagai - with the event currently being held at ◯|◯| 新宿, Japan, launched January 19th and exhibiting thru to February 3rd. Featuring artist-takes and adaptation of the Devilman-concept - on both toys, apparel and even handphone covers - I love it that there is nothing sublime about them, but utterly eye-gorgingly-candyworthy LOL
*The unpainted Mazinger Z from Medicom Toy looks utterly swell to be had, IMHO lol
I've been pretty clueless about this show, so this video posted below (circa August 2012) certain helps fill-in the blanks, and fuel the desire, lemme tells'ya! LOL
Just so you know, ◯|◯| 新宿 is written "MaruiMarui Shinjuku" in roman characters. Marui is a major department store chain in Japan and one of their branded chains is Marui Marui. "Maru" is how you say "circle" and the line looks like the letter "I", so that's how you get the name MaruiMarui.
