"Gizmos & Gadgets" @ Bottleneck Gallery (Jan 18)
Friday, January 18th, will see the launch of "Gizmos and Gadgets" show at Bottleneck Gallery, where they have invited over 50 artists to present their favorite gizmo or gadget in pop culture.
With pieces inspired by Johnny 5 from Short Circuit, James Bond’s Aston Martin, Pee Wee’s Breakfast Machine, the DeLorean from Back to the Future, Dick Tracy’s watch and more, sales of the items will benefit the Humane Society.
"As a token of our appreciation, for our subscribers, we will have the online preview Thursday, January 17th at around 8pm eastern and will last a little over an hour."
Shown here in this post are works from Dave Perillo ("Inspector Gadget"), Godmachine ("Hellboy"), Jay Shaw ("Short Circuit"), Paul Shipper ("Back to the Future") and Rob Loukotka ("007"). I've had a tremendously good experience with my first transaction Bottleneck recently, and aim to stay tuned to the computer for this!
