'Gallery1988 and popular website Hello Giggles have teamed up to produce and curate, "Young Adult," a brand new art show featuring 60 female artists, all creating pieces inspired by their favorite childhood literature. Working with the website's owners, actress Zooey Deschanel, producer Sophia Rossi & writer Molly McAleer, Gallery1988 asked them to pick the theme of the show, and help curate the impressive line-up. The show will feature paintings, prints, sculptures and plush - pulling reference from books like Nancy Drew, Goosebumps and Harriet The Spy. This show will run through February 23 at G1988 (Melrose).'

HERE on my Facebook album. I truly like that the variety of illustration and painting styles are not over-shone by the slightly "more aggressive" themes of media-related themes seen in recent times, IMHO.
