a quartet of preview images for Kathie Olivas' solo show in Stranger Factory - launching April 5th, alongside Scott Radke’s “Interface”, and Stephan Webb’s “Evolutionary End Game” shows. Dubbed "SCOUT", the show will feature paintings and their own original sculpts, and looking splendid indeed!

I was contemplating the website moniker "Misery Children" (from her personal website) and recognized that while the "children" depicted in her painted still have the "misery"-tinge within them, they actually look more radiant than ever, and seem flourishing with (hidden) joy! But that's just me … :)
