Product-Review: The Art Hustle Series 3 Trading Cards
One obvious difference between Art Hustle Series 2 (for which TOYSREVIL was a part of / yay!) and the currently released Series 3, is the cardstock. Previously printed grey-textured card (for that swish vintage retro-goodness), now the series look pristine clean on white paper-stock, with the colors popping on both sides of the trading card. As well the border designs sees an evolution to the current groovy vibe. So if "retro" is not your bag, then this series is "perfect" for your collective tastes. Kudos to Sidekick Media for a swell job done!

I've also aggressively covered Series 3 on my blog, including card reveals, but alas a lot of images are unviewable due to a recent glitch with Flickr, which left images' status changed (which meant it could not be viewed in public).
This is currently the ONLY representation of the art / art toy culture in trading card, or even published form, and would be a nifty headsup for folks entering the scene, IMHO. Although what would be uber-cool is if the first two series also saw availability for the current crowd, if not in existing card packs, but also printed catalog? How about a Trading Card folder with complete basic series (sans "chase", of course). If only for the information viewable of the printed-back, but for purely front surface visuals, Sidekick Media has uncut sheets, which could be framed up and hung from the wall.
