Customs Preview for G.I.Joe Tribute show @ Sub-Urban Gallery (May 31)
The G.I.Joe Tribute show opens May 31st at the Sub-Urban Vinyl Toys and Art Gallery - organized by Tenacious Toys x Sub-Urban x The Loyal Subjects - and a variety of customs has since been previewed thru the www - based on the G.I.Joe base form as produced by The Loyal Subjects. Previewed here today are a few makes which has passed thru my email inbox!
ABOVE: Geordi La Forge “Hello, Geordi” (Star Trek: The Next Generation) and J. Jonah Jameson “JJ” (Spider-Man), by SoKo Cat converted from G.I. Joe’s Snake Eyes and Duke figures, respectively. Both customs were hand-painted with high-quality acrylic paints, with JJ’s mustache and cigar sculpted from epoxy. They will be available for purchase at the show for US$75.
