I personally think "plush" doesn't necessarily get a fair shake at recognition sometimes. And while folks delved deep into the art toy culture do appreciate the designs, and make of these soft squishy toy-denizens, everyone else might consider it a "kids toy", or even a "girl's toy" - well, not the Designer Toy Awards, tho! An interesting selection of finalists, most of which are nominated for their 'monster' characters … 'kids', you say? … HAH!
This is a closed voting category, via a panel of judges - who has since been asleep to start voting NOW - so i will dispense with blogging about my choice, and go vote instead :)
