#DesignerCon 2013 #DCON Day 1
DesignerCon 2013 (Nov 9-10) is well underway at the Pasadena Convention Center, with Day 1 done and dusted, while Day 2; the final day is gearing to roar thru Sunday! In this particular post I'll feature what went on, and what's to be expected for Sunday - all thanks to the multiple postings on Facebook and Instagram, from kind folks attending the event!
Above-left: @Flabslab x @woes releases "WICKED" hand-painted resin busts at the Mighty Jaxx Booth on Sunday (neither quantities nor prices revealed). We first saw them at STGCC, and sure as the name states, it is simply wicked to behold!
Above-right: My heart skipped a beat when I saw this on KaNO's FB-stream: "Crow King" available at DCon Booth 112 - in an edition of 20 - ones unspoken for goes up on kanokid.com. Why the good stuff happens when im strapped for cash?
Bottom-left: Nervis Wrek with original sculpted and casted pieces (by Task One). US$75 per at the Urban Vinyl Daily booth #315.
Bottom-right: C'mon now, this is way too cool! 4" rotocast resin Strolls from TaskOne x SpankyStokes? At US$40 per? Hit up booth 201, and stat!

Above: Not too sure if you could 'buy' this and stuff it in a bag to bring home, but DRAGON BOY upsizes on Martin Hsu's booth 532, and as well showcases custom painted Dragon Boys from Mark Nagata, and plush from Lana Crooks!
Above: Upsized 1000% Possessed by Luke Chueh x Munky King. Want to order one? Go bug the folks at booth 818 … you know you need one right beside the Christmas tree this year, doncha? muahahahaha
Above-left+right: Blackbook Toy shares table with Frank Kozik and the spread is nigh desirable! gawks but I want that Popganda Pink Big Boner! Don't miss out on Kozik's booth too - hey, they're the same booth! LOL
Bottom-left: The Circus Posterus booth is packed to the edges with goodness! One day I will own an Amanda Louise Spayd collectible … one day…
Bottom-right: Manly Art booth featuring Jason Chalker's illustration, art and Pimp2D2!
Above-left: original Sculptures by Jason Limon can be found at Jeremiah Ketner's booth. Always inspiring and a visual splendor :)
Above-right: Truly love the fab look of TheMarkUltra's blister carded figures!
Bottom-left+right: Pocket Power Monkey Kung Fu master 'jade edition' is utterly adorable1 and then there this 'Fire Jade Pocket Master' - limited to only 10 and only available at Mana Studios Booth 717 at Dcon? WANT!
@scribeswalk and @40threads take on a 4ft Dunny and does "live" painting at the Kidrobot booth #430. Sole blazer of large-scaled figures for "live" demo, since brands like Toy2R has scaled back their awareness, IMHO. You go, KR! LOL
