Toy-Review: Doctor Who Series 2 by Titan Merchandise
Thanks to the splendid folks at Titan Merchandise, I have a quartet of blind boxed goodness to rip into, from their DOCTOR WHO mini figure Series 2, with designs curated by Lunartik!
Here are some snaps to share, as well you are recommended to go bug your fav retailers for availability, with 2 Series released thus far (Series 1 = 11th Doctor series / Series 2 = 10th Doctor series) and a scheduled 3rd series to be released in November 2013 - featuring all 11 Doctors! Also expect to have 6.5" tall figures by the end of the year! More info and images as I get them :)
I find myself excited at the sculpt and quality of the figures I have, from the impressive detailing of "Davros", to the raygun goodness from "Sontaran", to event the double pull of "Vashta Nerada". These are truly nice figures to own, especially if you are a "Doctor Who"-fan (can't say that I am tho, sorry ;p), with a unique aesthetic on these characters ala "super deformed" concept, on a 3" tall mini figure.
Forbidden Planet in the UK has it priced at £7.99, and I've seen them available at a local comicbook store for around SGD$20+ - which is not necessarily a spectacular price for blind pulls, but as I mentioned, Doctor Who-fans might get a swell kick out of these, perhaps?
Good Luck with your pulls, folks!
