Opening this Friday, December 6th at Gallery1988 (East) is "Modern Vintage" - featuring the art of Tom Whalen & Dave Perillo. The show runs through Dec. 22, 2013. The previews posted here speak volumes of the style which I personally heart (suddenly I remembered the "Mister X" comicbooks from Dean Motter x Vortex from the late-80s lol …)
