Give Way To "The King of Jakarta" from Darbotz x MuTummyToys
Let's start off the week with a look at the work-in-proge\ress pics of Indonesia urban artist Darbotz second upcoming resin release with Bandung's MyTummyToys (first collabo being the sold out "Monster Ball"), with this beast named; "KING OF JAKARTA"!
With 'King Kong' hands at the sides of his mini-bus grabbing at overhead road signs (are there any overhead roadsigns in J-Town anyways? in singapore, it would be ERP Gantries lol), and furry limbs clad in NIKE sneaks, who am I to argue his self-given title? LOL (this piece was actually very recently and formerly also known as "Metro Mini" ;p).
Shades of Jeremy Fish's vehicular x animal makes (my toy-grails, actually...), but with a localized touch = iI like it1 More pics and info as I get them!
