#flashbackfriday: Combat R Zero FanArt Contest (2008)

The year of 2008 was a pretty fun and enriching year for the blog. TOYSREVIL held a number of contests, including a Valentines' Day toy-photo contest TOYLOVE (Blog), paper toy designing contest DOOKIE-POO PAPER JAM (Blog), and as well a Fan Art Contest for Atomic Mushroom Toys's Combat R Zero - whereby a slew of folks sent in their fanart of CRZ, to be picked a winner to win awesome toy robots from Robert DeCastro! I even had a separate blog at crzart.blogspot.sg to specifically feature the artworks, and have since redone it up with large images of submitted art, for perhaps a more fulfilling visual experience, IMHO :)

And while I've since held quite a few illustration and customization contests since, I really do miss the days where folks would take the trouble and effort to do something more, than just a "click/follow/repost/comment", to participate.
