Free Comic Book Day in Singapore 2014
Saturday May 3rd is "Free Comic Book Day" AKA "FCBD", and I remember my "challenge" last year in an attempt to procure free comics (didn't really work out too well, I have to admit LOL), while this year I am holed-up at home with my chickenpox, and luckily a fee graphic novels I picked up not too long ago … nevertheless, here are a few select local/Singapore activities you can get about doing today!
GnB Comics hosts American artist Ivan Reis and offers up 'exclusive' prints (seen above), and as well artists Alan Quah ("Spiderman" print via) and Sheldon Goh, who will be releasing a FCBD Sketchbook and postcards for 2014 (More pics on his Facebook). In partnership with Atom Comics, free FCBD comics will be give away at The Cathay (from 2pm-6pm), including caricatures by comic artists.
