Michael Lau Exhibition IV “remember-disc, time-table” @ Michael Lau Pop-up Gallery (May 15 - June 1)
The last I posted about Michael Lau's "remember-disc, time-table" was a single image, which has since been filling up his IG @michaellau, featuring Stainless steel sculptures on wooden tables (seen above), large scaled 121x121cm canvas artwork, 30x30cm pencil on canvas, and acrylic on 26x26cm wood discs - all playing on the theme of "time" and "memory", with text/spoken "inspirational quotes" to guide the storytelling of the images. Quite a departure from his "usual" character portraiture, and seems this is the most text I have seen from his work, IMHO.
