Booth-Hunting in "Artist Alley" (Part 1) for Singapore Toy Games & Comic Con 2014 #STGCC2014
With the recent announcement of the "Artist Alley" booths being "Sold Out" (although no number of booths have been mentioned/listed), today TOYSREVIL takes an early look at who's setting up shop for the Singapore Toy Games & Comic Con (Sept 6-7, 2014) - based on the current listings on www.singaporetgcc.com, with a firm focus on most things 3-dimensional! Hey, I am a firm supporter of the indie-artist-fueled "Artist Alley", so this also acts as impetuous for my own "Wants-List" LOL
Booth of Lost Things @ #AA1 will feature new books, artwork and collectibles from artists Sonny Liew (sonnyliew.wordpress.com + sonny123.deviantart.com) and Chan Shiuan (www). And while this particular post spotlights primarily 3D-products (2D-godness will be in another separate post ;p) - Making it's debut is Sonny's Astroboy-inspired "100,000 Horsepower", made in collaboration with Mighty Jaxx X Gary Choo. Seems Daniel @thedanielyu is doing a custom of the 8" tall bust, so things'll get real interesting really soon!
CARAMELAW @ Booth #AA26 marks her return to the event, since I last met her at STGCC 2010. Expect to be engulfed by her Candyland-art, and as well I'm hoping to see more custom toys and Blythe! Hidden Fortress by Secret Fresh @ Booth #AA17 will see an awesome lineup of artists from The Philippines including Quiccs and Egg Fiasco, and as well limited edition art toys, tees, art prints and more! INSTINCTOY returns to STGCC this year at Booth #AA94, and I cannot wait to get my grubby hands on more of Hiroto Ohkubo's collectibles! (I went slightly insane last year too ;p). Check out their works on , and shown below is the 4th colorway of Muckey dubbed "Fantasmic Rainbow(G.I.D)". Will we see a 5th colorway exclusive for STGCC? :p
