International Release for "Wananeko" by Javier Jimenez (Aug 10 Drop)
The first run of Javier Jimenez's Wananeko The Yokai Cat made it's debut at the Tokyo Cat Fight show in Japan ("Sold Out" btw!), next comes the online International Release of the original colorway scheduled for Sunday 10th of August at 11AM EST via www.lakaijufam.bigcartel.com! Standing approximately 12cm tall (4.8") this resin figure will cost US$60 per piece.
"This second run has a very limited amount of pieces and there won't be another run in this colorway, at least in a long while. The figure comes in a plastic bag with header card and includes some themed stickers." -shared Javier.
The "Wananeko Anatomy" print, a tribute to Shigeru Mizuki's series of yokai anatomy illustrations, will also be available at the web shop for US$6 each print. Print on watercolor paper, each one has A5 size.
"Looking at his anatomy and reading the Japanese text, we can find out why he scares people instead of killing them as his revenge: he feeds on human panic!" -teases Javier.
