Popped by 'Front Row' store in Raffles Hotel Arcade yesterday to check out Mighty Jaxx's Cookie Party (launched Dec 19 and exhibiting till Dec 26) and am pretty glad and jazzed I did, as I'd a chance to see the pieces up close, and see what online pictures might not be able to convey, examples being Samantha Lo AKA SKL0's piece being "warped" rather than the existing flat relief piece, and the three-dimensional aspects of MINDFLYER's whimsical circus of activity, Jeremy Tanavit's bulging burger-belly, Puffningmuffin's yummy piece with a chopping board, and of course not to mention Daniel Yu's piece - all of whom makes for an interesting mix of styles and genres in this red dot island we call "Singapore".
I was pretty keen to see Caramelaw's candy-pink framed "Candy Guts" too, but alas, an empty spot on the wall greeted me instead … this is in no way any slight to the custom-painted pieces tho, and some were simply amazing!

As mentioned before, the custom pieces are currently available for purchase n-store, and will be listed online via MJ's online store for a week after the exhibit closes December 26th. For unsold customs, they will be returned back to the respective artists. Local (Singapore) collectors can self-collect their purchases at Front Row, from 27th Dec onwards.
