#LookBack JULY 2014 On TOYSREVIL
The month of July 2014 was pretty spotty in daily bloggery, as some days was spent in Bangkok for the inaugural Bangkok Comic Con! (Blogged / All Coverage #onTOYSREVIL / Facebook album w/ IG pics). I had a whale of a time, and as well it had been a personal triumphant to have been able to make the trip and survive it! I truly hope to return this year … if they'll have me again, that is!
"Convention" season had started, with a proliferation of promos prior to the annual San Diego Comic Con 2014 (July 24-27) flooding both my inbox and the blog, moreso than any other conventions. Traditionally West-based events promote themselves readily, via both their own social network and thru other online news outlets and sites (such as TOYSREVIL), while practitioners from the East tend to promote themselves thru their own social channels more … times like these, "google translate" is a real boon! I have searched hard and promoted hard too .. but "one-sided love" will eventually be a bane rather than a boon, alas.
