Official Poster & Event Details for SOTOYS: Self Original Toys @ Lou Belle Shop (Feb 28 - March 7)
An update for the previously featured SOTOYS: Self Original Toys exhibition scheduled to launch February 28th at Lou Belle Shop in Bandung, Indonesia - with a new poster featuring the list of artists showcasing their works - many of them new and up-and-coming artists ad talents too!
As well there will be "Live Sculpting" by Dira Suherman (you would recognize his work in most of MyTummyToys releases!) and yeyeyeaaghh. There will also be an "Artist Talk" at the end of the exhibition on March 7th, 2015. Stay tuned to updates as well on Instagram @so.toys.

ABOUT: "This exhibition is an initiative undertaken by various young artists who indulge in Bandung. Sotoys: toys arguably original self expression that is not standard in assessing and understand the work of toys for all participants involved in this exhibition. Sotoys also is a pun on the word "sotoy" / "smart ass" for making the toys work, This group considers that the artwork can also depart from ignorance which produces knowledge. If the observed work of toys are always assumed to things adjacent to the urban art.Sort of Artist:
Interestingly, on this occasion yabg participants involved have backgrounds as diverse as street artist whose works are scattered in the streets, the product designers to concentrate on the work of applied art, consistent artists in sculpture who usually works with a wide kinds of media in a formal space gallery, so that the resulting work into many perspectives.
