UGLYDOLL will be entering Japan, and thanks to David Horvath (who is currently in Japan), we are treated to images of their booth at the Anime, Comic & Character License Fair (part of the 79th Tokyo International Gift Show 2015 Spring), happening now in Tokyo Big Sight. An exciting series of crossovers ("meets") have been unveiled, and I am hella excited! In lieu of "official" product information, I'll let the images do the "talking";

I love this! As an Uglydoll fan living in Japan, I'd like to see them become popular here. I can't understand why Japan hasn't quite taken with Uglydolls yet, and they can only be purchased at a very few stores (Kiddie Land and Yamashiroya in Tokyo being two I can think of). I've introduced Uglydoll to some students who have really liked the designs, but so far real popularity and recognition of Uglydoll has eluded Japan. Meanwhile, the poorly-drawn Funasshi is extremely popular here, and I despise that obnoxious, loathsome yellow blob.
