PREHISTORIC by Alex Solis as a collectible from Mighty Jaxx x Threadless
Looks like the Chunky Knight will not be the last piece we see from Mighty Jaxx x Alex Solis, with the coming of PREHISTORIC, with this being a Threadless collaboration! This woolly mammoth x zipdisk was first seen as a print on a t-shirt, and was the winning design picked from the MJ x Threadless' "Characters" Design Contest!
Expect a drop on mightyjaxx.rocks and stay tuned for further details.
UPDATED MJ PRESS RELEASE: "Last year we collaborated with Threadless to launch a design challenge entitled "Characters". We encouraged everyone to submit their own characters for a chance to get their design produced by us! It was an astounding success! We received over 800 submissions at the end of the challenge! We are truly humbled by the support.This design is limited to 200pcs worldwide at only US$30 each, releasing at the date/time shown below.
A winner had emerged and we started working on the design late last year. We are proud to announce that Alex Solis won the challenge with his "Pre-Historic" design, showing relics of yesteryears combined! Seen below is the actually production piece, fully painted and at 4" tall, it is desk friendly, reminding you of the old times :)"
