"Over the last two months I have been working on paintings for my show at Vinyl On Vinyl in Manila, Philippines. 10 paintings that were to combine my love of silver age comics, and a recent more intense obsession with Jack Kirby as an artist and master of fantastic fiction. The aesthetic style of it influenced from different kinds of comics at the time of the silver age.. A little before or after as well.. KIRBY/DITKO bombast and action, E.C.
