THE ART OF TOYS: A LEFT COAST RETROSPECTIVE OF DESIGNER TOYS launches July 18, 2015 @ The Museum of Art and History in Lancaster, California (MOAH). EVENT PRESS: "The Art Of Toys exhibition will feature the most talked about creators and produced who have come to define this art movement over the past twenty years. This is the very first West Coast museum exhibition to address the history of the art toy. Concentrating on West Coast artists, stores, and manufacturers.

Showcased here are 2 of the pieces that are in the show from Plasebo:
"After Hieronymus Bosch”: A one of a kind custom hand cast resin piece with inset red eyes and an internal switched color-changing LED unit.
The "Mummy Gnaw X 1”: A one of a kind custom vinyl piece with the Plaseebo “Gnaw” head on a Skull Head Butt “X” body with red glass inset eyes, fabric wrap, and an internal motion activated / color-changing LED unit.
Other activities include:
- Paul Frank’s original sketch book and sewing machine where the FIRST Julius was created.
- Prototypes for new works from Craola & Eric Joyner
- A sculptors perspective with original molds and sketches from sculptors, Dave Bondi & Dave Pressler.
- Dave Pressler’s massive robot sculpture, Revengebot will be on view.
- A screening of “The Treasures of Long Gone John” followed by a panel discussion on the relationship between artist and collector. Panelists include: Director: Greg Gibbs, Producer: Greg Escalante, Artist: Dave Pressler & Artist: Liz McGrath.
- For Photo Ops: A standee installation by Kozyndan.
- Exclusive retail space with products from your favorite artists.
- Mural installations by artists Angry Woebots (Aaron “Woes” Martin), Hueman, (Allison Torneros), and Teddy Kelly.
