KULT PRESS: "Launching on 6 August, and open for a month, Kult Gallery’s newest show ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ welcomes visitors to the weird and wonderful world of ‘Wunderkammer’.

Wunderkammer, or cabinets of curiosities, arose in mid-sixteenth-century Europe as repositories for all manner of wondrous and exotic objects. These collections—combining specimens, diagrams, and illustrations from many disciplines; and drawing on natural, manmade, and artificial worlds—can be seen as the precursors to museums."
KULT PRESS CONTINUED: "This exhibition seeks to recreate a traditional cabinet of curiosities by bringing together 50 of Kult’s favourite contemporary artists and inviting them to create new thought-provoking works that explore this world of bizarre, grotesque abnormalities, unusual and extraordinary objects and phenomena.

In line with its mission to be a constantly evolving space, Kult Gallery has been transformed and visitors can expect to discover a diverse selection of paintings, drawings and sculptures on genetic modification, toxic pollution and overuse of technology."
