Revealed: PUGRIDER by Wetworks x Yoii!
"Revealed" online - this fine Monday afternoon in sunny Singapore - is PUGRIDER by Singapore-based Carlo Andrada Cacho AKA Wetworks (IG @iamwetworks) based on the illustrations of New Zealand illustrator Anna Johnstone AKA Yoii (IG @_yoiiii). Since my earlier teaser post, I have been looking forward to be seeing how this develops, and I am not disappointed! A lone urban warrior sits atop a 8-legged pug, ready for battle!
The surface finishing on this resin piece leaves an uber-glossy "ceramic" feel, and looks pretty apt (versus a painted version, which no doubt might appear later?). Expect a late/end-November release, folks! Stay tuned for further updates!
