FRAME ARMS GIRL by Kotobukiya @ #AFASG16 Anime Festival Asia 2016
“FRAME ARMS GIRL” from Kotobukiya was out in full force at the Anime Festival Asia 2016 (Nov 25-27), with a wide array of builds on display and available for purchase (check out more booth images HERE on Facebook), and as well was a nifty set-up where folks could have a hands-on opportunity to “play” with the figure sets, in the “Free Touch & Try Zone”!
Both figures and it’s accessories were laid out for folks to work, and even a corner where you can take pics of your build against assorted backgrounds.
WHAT-IS: Frame Arms Girl is a new expansion of Kotobukiya’s Frame Arms series combining the customizability of the Frame Arms plastic model kits with the aesthetics of (their) Ani*Statues.
The standard Frame Arms robots are built around a basic robot skeleton, and features interchangeable body amour and weapons like cannons, missiles, and swords.
Basic figures stand 6 inches tall and features multiple points of articulation, and multiple face parts allowing you to change her expression. (Info)
Pretty awesome a line, which had not relied on manga or anime affiliation (which will change! Scroll down to both of this post!) to start off their current success! :)
