Valerian (Dane DeHaan) and Laureline (Cara Delevingne) are special operatives for the government of the human territories charged with maintaining order throughout the universe.
Under directive from their Commander (Clive Owen), Valerian and Laureline embark on a mission to the breathtaking intergalactic city of Alpha, an ever-expanding metropolis comprised of thousands of different species from all four corners of the universe. Alpha’s seventeen million inhabitants have converged over time- uniting their talents, technology and resources for the betterment of all. Not since THE FIFTH ELEMENT has I witnessed such spectacular sci-fi spectacle (“Jupiter Rising” does not count :p) grounded so much in urban jungles as much as outer space, and I have zero problem even if Luc Besson had decided to carry on the landscape we was responsible for in The Fifth Element, to “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets” (*which instinctively could have been but ONE of the thousand planets tho? Graphic Novel source notwithstanding :p).

“Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets” premieres July 21st, 2017 in USA. Currently (as of this posting) no listing for Singapore screens???? NNNNNNnnnnnnnooooOOOOOOOOOooooooo!
And while there will be tons of folks out there who will be uploading their own clips of the teaser trailer on their own youtube channel, folks who choose to leave a comment on the film’s ORIGINAL video (i.e.: embedded top), might “receive” in return their very own “Personalised” clip of the exact same trailer, BUT with your comment up at the beginning of said trailer!
