When the opportunity to work with the TMNT license was handed to Unbox the team knew that Mori san from REALxHEAD was the man for the job and fortunately he was graceful enough to oversee the entire creative process. The results are a perfect combination of classic RxH figure attributes & a TMNT design that harks back to the aesthetic of the original toy releases.
Each Turtle stands approximately 29cm tall from foot to bandana tip and include their signature weapons. Production is extremely limited and Unbox are pretty sure the release will be the rarest licensed TMNT figure set ever." (www.unbox.industries)
Sold as a set of four & retailing for US$400.00, Unbox will be shipping the figures at the end of February 2017. Unfortunately due to territorial restrictions the figures are only available for purchase in Hong Kong with pre-order opportunities at Toy Soul 2016 (Dec 16-18) via the Unbox Booth (F11). Unbox will be announcing additional pre-order opportunities at a later date after confirmation from the licensor.
Very subtle but distinct design standouts - versus your regular impression of TMNT - (1) Full-wrap blue head mask for Leonardo, (2) Michelangelo is “wearing” a different “shorts” than his brothers, and (3) Their Belt Buckles are rock-n-rock! LOL
