URBAN TOY STAGE @ Kuningan City Mall, Jakarta, Indonesia (4-5 March, 2017)

“URBAN TOY STAGE” is an “art toy” exhibition & market presented by Catalyst Arts Indonesia (@catalyst_arts), in collaboration with SOTOY (a collective group of 8 visual artists who turn their imaginations into things called toys and share it with the world / Instagram @so.toy) for the 1st volume, scheduled to happen from Saturday March 4th to Sunday 5th, 2017 at Kuningan City Mall, Jakarta, Indonesia.

Activities & festivities include a Vinyl Toys Exhibition, Collectible Toys and Artworks (above features a slideshow of work from Mr.umKum, and I’ve featured works on the blog by Alympu and Sombong - thanks for the headsup, guys!), Creative Workshops (see some themed activities in images below), and as well Talk Show / sharing sessions with Iky Z (“Power Anger Junior Custom Show” Experience ) and Riandi Sumadinata (Experience Participating in a Toy Exhibition at KULT Gallery, Singapore).

TOYSREVIL was a Media Partner for “Power Anger Junior Custom Show”, and as well I had the chance to meet Riandi at Kult’s Choking Hazard show and had a good chat - and I am glad I had a chance to be apart of both gentlemen’s toylife, however small it might have been :)

Don't miss these three exhibitions at Urban Toy Stage, March 4-5 at @kuningan_city, South Jakarta! 1. The launching of "The Lucky Felix", a toy character made by @addydebil. There will be 10 "The Lucky Felix" toys customised by 9 illustrators. 2. An exhibition of Toy Custom Challenge's selected participants. Come, see, and vote your most favourite Toy Custom Challenge design artwork because there will be door prizes for the most favourite artwork and the lucky voters. 3. As well the event will see the launch of Addy Debil a.k.a WHOP’s ‘The Lucky Felix’ Toy (see above), and a ‘The Lucky Felix’ Custom Toys Exhibition (featuring the works of Crack | Fivust | Herzven | Margaret Yap | Mediocrux | Muchlis Fachri | Pahello | Wardhanabilla | Wonderyash).
