Jon-Paul Kaiser x J*RYU @ Middle East Film & Comic Convention (April 6-8.2017)


After their collaborative show “Dauntless” at San Francisco’s Woot Belly, the duo of Jon-Paul Kaiser and J*RYU next travels to Dubai for Middle East Film & Comic Convention - where they’ll be boothing at #IA07 - #IA08 (alongside Linda Le AKA @vampybitme on booth #IA09), and representing products from Kidrobot, myplasticheart, Tenacious Toys and Rotofugi, one of which is the “Spawning Version” of Chris Ryniak’s Snybora (seen below) in an extremely limited edition of just 10 pieces!


Both JPK & J*RYU will also be conducting two panels at MEFFC: “The Business of Art” and “Toy Customization 101”, so check it out if you are in attendance, with the event housed in the Dubai World Trade Center, from April 6th to 8th, 2017.

On my way to Dubai for Middle East Film & Comic Convention and I could not be more stoked! I will be conducting two panels along with @jonpaulkaiser - The Business of Art and Toy Customization 101. We can also be found at booths IA08-09 (next to the extremely talented @vampybitme) where we will have our work, along with a huge amount of products on behalf of @kidrobot, @myplasticheart, @rotofugi and @tenacioustoys so that @MEFCC attendees can get their first chance to explore the world of designer toys and collectibles. We’re going international…introducing Snybora - Spawning Version, an MEFCC Exclusive! This limited edition of just 10 pieces will be available at the Middle East Film and Comic Con (@MEFCC) at the Dubai World Trade Centre, April 6-8 thanks to our amazing friend J*RYU (@jryuart) — booth number IA08-09. Designed and sculpted by Chris Ryniak (@chrisryniak) with paint by Joe Somers (@squibblesink) and Kirby Kerr (@rotofugi), this version of Snybora is one of the craziest we’ve painted for our Lake Monsters series to date. Spawning Snybora features lavender vinyl with red, blue and yellow sprays and a rubbed paint effect on his back. Snybora will be available at the convention for 150 AED. If any remain after the convention they will be offered for sale on rotofugi.com as soon as they make it back to us from Dubai! In addtion to Snybora, check out Toasted Mini Marshalls by @64colors, and eeensy Charms by @shawnimals and @squibblesink that will also be available at the convention.
