ThreeA Toys To Make Paul Pope's THB Toys!
Spotted at the recent US VENTURE show from ThreeA Toys @ Sparks Gallery (circa San Diego Comic Con 2017 period - July 20–23) were artwork from invited artist PAUL POPE, hung on the walls behind the showcase display of his UPCOMING ACTION FIGURES from ThreeA!
Adapted from Pope’s comicbook creation “THB” from 1994, folks were treated to prototypes of “HR Watson” aka the teenage girl standing next to her super-powered bodyguard “THB” (whose name stands for Tri-Hydro Bi-Oxygenate, a fictional molecule created by Pope)!
HR looks to be an articulated figure with fabric clothes (somewhat perfect an aesthetic fit with the uber-long legs of 3A’s femme figures, IMHO), standing next to a non-articulated THB … but of course these are “prototypes”, so we’ll know further details for when they are unleashed!
Also on display was “DUPERMEK” in 1/6th-scale (from “The Invisible Mek”), which NEEDS to be featured in a separate blog-post HERE!
